Genting Casino: Troy & Banks recovered $791,320.41 for the Genting Casino through a forensic audit.
New York Racing Association: Troy & Banks conducted utility and telecommunications forensic audits of the New York Racing Association's Aqueduct, Belmont and Saratoga Racetracks. In addition to the forensic audits, Troy & Banks assisted with an energy curtailment program for the Association. The utility and telecommunication refunds and future savings, curtailment incentives and a refund on a federal excise tax discovered by Troy & Banks, provided the NY Racing Association with funds totaling $455,008.55.
Turning Stone Resort Casino/Oneida Nation Enterprises: A telecommunication and utility audit was completed for the Oneida Nation Enterprises (ONE) which resulted in savings of $96,408 and refunds exceeding $173,812. The telecom audit implemented lower rates, eliminated many zero usage devices and obtained credits for non-existent line charges. Incorrect rates and incorrect demands led to ONE being overbilled by their utility provider. In response, Troy & Banks utility auditors secured lower rates and credits. The combined savings and refunds for Oneida Nation Enterprises exceed $270,220.
Corrections
New York State Corrections: The New York State Department of Correctional Services received a refund totaling $3,510 in response to accounts being billed incorrectly for sales tax.
New York State Police: Throughout the years Troy & Banks has assisted the New York state Police with multiple utility and telecommunication audits resulting in refunds and savings exceeding $72,800.
Factories
Ballie Lumber: A forensic audit for Baille Lumber discovered the opportunity to reduce rates to more favorable ones for multiple accounts, reductions in exempt percentages, incorrect billing of sales tax and incorrect rates. Troy & Banks was able to reduce rates, exempt percentages and obtain refunds for erroneous charges. The total savings and refunds exceeded $198,300.
Tessy Plastics: Through a telecommunications audit, Troy & Banks were able to implement a loyalty credit for Tessy Plastics through their telecom provider, resulting in monthly savings of $90.
Hospitals
Mount Sinai Hospital: Troy & Banks reviewed the hospital's utility, telecommunications, sales tax and gross receipt bills. Our discovery refunds, credits and multiple savings secured over $232,900 for the hospital.
St. Francis Health Center: Troy & Banks audited the gas, electric, telecommunications and water/sewage bill for the health center. Our findings resulted in more than $130,515 being returned to St. Francis Health Center.

Large Corporations
Pfizer: Pfizer acquired $88,200 in response to Troy & Banks forensic audit of their accounts as well as assistance with enrollment in an energy curtailment program.
New York Stock Exchange (NYSE): Since conducting their first forensic audit in 2006 for the New York Stock Exchange, Troy & Banks has delivered refunds exceeding $367,000 in response to meter errors, duplicate charges, and overpayments. Troy & Banks has also assisted the NYSE with identifying the best energy suppliers and programs. Enrollment in a Demand Response Program and entering into multiple supply contracts to reduced energy costs, saved the NYSE over $152,000 in the first year alone.
United States Postal Service (USPS): A sales tax refund of $44,759 was obtained due to USPS utility accounts being charged incorrectly for sales tax. Erroneous demand reads were also discovered resulting in a refund exceeding $6,500. Additionally, Troy & Banks worked with the USPS to establish a Demand Response Program across eight states which resulted in savings of $1.7 million.
Municipalities
City of Buffalo, NY: The city has hired Troy & Banks several times for audits of utilities, street lights, gross receipts tax and the cable franchise fee. To date over $2 million has been recovered.
City of Pleasanton, CA: Pleasanton contracted Troy & Banks to review their utility, telecommunications and street light service accounts; almost $300,000 has been recovered to date.
School Districts
Onondaga-Cortland-Madison (OCM) BOCES: This BOCES district serves over 300 schools. Troy & Banks has identified significant overbillings by OCM BOCES' utility and telecom providers, ranging from erroneous meter reads to incorrect rate structures; resulting in refunds of over $1 million. OCM BOCES first hired Troy & Banks in 1996 and has since renewed the contact four more times.
Orange County Public Schools: Located in Florida, this school district is the 10th largest in the nation. Troy & Banks recovered $60,000 in refunds and over $400,000 in annual savings for the school district.
Richmond City Public Schools: The Richmond City Public Schools located in Virginia, entered into an agreement with Troy & Banks to audit the district's electrical, sewer, water, fuel oil, natural gas, propane, telephone, cable television, internet and cellular services accounts. Columbia University: Claims on twelve of Columbia University's energy accounts resulted in refunds exceeding $32,480 for the university.
